At Mountain Homes, we specialize in quality hand crafted log work. We build all types and styles of log structures as well as manufacture log components for homeowners and general contractors. We supply key components for a log accent project, or build your complete log shell.

Our hand-crafted homes have a rustic look and feel that cannot be duplicated any other way. If you want your home to be unmistakably distinctive with a very natural look and feel, then you’re exactly who we designed our hand-crafted packages for. Each of our hand-crated homes are custom designed to match each client’s vision, and can range in size from one-room cabins to capacious lodges.

Hybrid Log Homes

Many people love the warmth and charm of log homes, but also like the flexibility of conventional construction. For these clients we offer log accented homes. These homes are much like regular homes, except that they have log elements that give the home a rustic lodge feel. Any plan, log or conventional, can be adapted for log accents. We also offer custom home design complete with engineering.

Log accent, or hybrid homes are unique in that you can adjust the amount of log work to fit your style and budget. They also work well for remodels or additions since they can go over conventional framing.

Design & Engineering Services

We offer custom outside design and engineering services for any commercial or residential project. We can provide custom drawings in an AutoCAD or Revit format that are suitable for permit submittal. The design firm we use works closely with the engineer to design and detail a plan that works. We can also customize any plan we already have to work for you and your building site. The engineering firm we use is based in Vancouver, Washington, and can stamp designs in many states. We have worked exclusively with the same firm for 10 years, establishing an efficient style and set of details that keeps your project on budget and on time.
